Sunday, January 20th
We just walked over to the Vatican because we didn't have any other plans and that's the kind of thing we can just do because we feel like it.
A big group of SAI girls and I navigated our way to the vatican which was basically just walking in a straight line for about 20 minutes and then you're there. It was absolutely beautiful and surreal to see in person. I already am making plans to go back there this upcoming weekend.
After taking LOTS of pictures we found a small restaurant for lunch and then headed back to our apartments (it was very rainy). Later we looked for different buildings our classes are being held in and started to slowly realize that tomorrow is in fact Monday. We went grocery shopping and just now are trying to figure out how to live in Italy as people rather than just temporary tourists.
We ate in our apartment and made a pitstop for gelato later because it was 7:00 and we were ready for bed which wasn't good.
Tomorrow starts real-ish life in Italy. I need to do my laundry, attend classes, and shop for textbooks.
