Boys Didn't Capture Our Hearts but Bologna Did

How Five Single Girls Celebrated Valentine's Day and then Traveled to Northern Italy and Fell In Love

Spending Valentine's Day with my Favorite Single Ladies (and Paige)

Valentine's Day was celebrated by many around the world but for us it was *Galentine's Day. We planned an extravagant night that included a potluck style breakfast for dinner, the prosecco and blood orange juice mimosas, games, and Ariana Grande.

Everything was amazing but we all learned that cooking in Italy is much harder when all the instructions and ingredients are in Italian. So, Ally and Enya worked hard to put together some pancakes (they turned out great) but it was quite the process. Me, being ridiculous, decided to make a cake. This was a horrible idea. I think I made a cake? Maybe it was a chocolate bread? Not sure if I made frosting or pudding? Either way it was edible at the end of the night. I will never try to make a cake in Italy ever again though. Karli put together a ton of chocolate strawberries, Paige made eggs, Megan made hash browns, and of course we all worked as our own bartenders. Hands Down one of my all time favorite Galentine's Day.

The following weekend everyone (except Paige whose sister is visiting) decided to take a day trip to Bologna, Italy. I think it is safe to say that we fell in love with the area...as well as some of the street performers. Our visit was pretty short but we got a lot accomplished in a short amount of time.

One of the Oldest Universities in Europe. Reminds me of Boyle at SNC.

Overall, if you find yourself in Italy- you should probably give Bologna a visit.
